God Will Work It Out
There are seasons when life feels like a whisper.
When the prayers you’ve prayed seem to float into silence,
and the answers take their time coming home.
I’ve been there lately...
standing between faith and fear,
trying to trust that God still sees me.
It’s not that I doubt Him.
It’s that sometimes the waiting feels endless,
and my heart grows tired of being strong.
Then, one night, I played “God Will Work It Out” by Naomi Raine.
I didn’t expect it to touch me the way it did.
But there it was...
a gentle voice reminding me that God hasn’t stopped moving.
That even when I can’t trace His hand,
I can still trust His heart.
Before I knew my name, before I drew a breath,
He was making ways for me.
That line… it stopped me cold.
Because I realized... He was already working on my story
before I ever had words to pray.
There are days I wake up feeling unsure.
The weight of uncertainty presses on my chest.
I think about the things I’ve lost,
the things I’m still waiting for,
and the things I wish I could change.
But then I remember that faith isn’t built on sight.
It’s built on surrender.
To be still when your heart wants to rush.
To hold on when your hands are tired.
To whisper “I still believe”
when everything in you says it’s easier to give up.
This is the kind of faith the waiting teaches.
It’s not loud. It’s not flashy.
It’s quiet and steady...
like a candle still burning after the storm passes.
The song says, “Be still, my soul, be still.
Wait patiently upon the Lord.”
And I’m learning to do that.
Not perfectly, but honestly.
Because sometimes “being still” doesn’t mean silence...
it means choosing peace while the questions remain.
Maybe you’re in that same space too...
holding on to hope by a thread,
wondering if God still remembers your name.
Let me tell you: He does.
He’s not late.
He’s preparing something that needs time to grow.
And while He works, He’s strengthening you.
I’ve come to believe that delays aren’t denials;
they’re just divine rearrangements.
God is aligning things, protecting you from what’s not ready yet,
and shaping your faith in the waiting.
So I’m learning to rest.
To breathe.
To remind my soul that God will work it out.
Not “maybe.” Not “if I’m good enough.”
He will. Because He said He would.
And one day, I’ll look back and see it...
the thread of grace running through it all.
The closed doors that were really protection.
The tears that watered new beginnings.
The silence that taught me how to hear His voice again.
Until then, I’ll keep trusting.
I’ll keep believing.
And I’ll keep singing the words that brought me peace:
“God is working it out, right now.”
Because even here, even now...
He is.
